Boy, time goes fast these days. Work, family, school, work, family, school... How do we ever wind down when there isn't enough time for the things we have to do. When do we have some free time? Ok, so spending time with the family does count towards free time, but it's essential to spend time with them...

I did find one way to find some free time. Buy new toys! (thank you school loans) Recently, I bought a Canon 40D off of ebag (err, ebay) and damn is that one sweet camera. It's leaps and bounds beyond my Canon Digital Rebel (300D) that I had been using for the past year or so. I've also been looking at HDR images and have bought Photomatix and wow, there is a whole world out there to explore with this type of photo processing. It's amazing to see what detail can be brought out of multiple exposure photos. (For those unfamiliar with HDR, a quick google search or deviantArt search will show you plenty of excellent examples) I will be exploring this technique for a while to come for sure.
